Canon EOS 1D Mark II N + Sigma 150 + 50/1.8 reversed + 3 Tubes.
1/250s f/20.0 at 150.0mm iso50 with Flash
Handheld.
Maybe a Tick? He looks like a red skull!

Looking at this one and your other, both appear to be red spider mites but then again I am no bug expert. Great shots of the critter and use of gear.

Thanks Ken. The body shape looks different though. I thought maybe that's why this guy was a Tick. He runs around at a blistering pace!
