The Giant Millipede

Post by Ken Ramos »

Really, I Googled it first this time. They can be found in temperate climates, living under rocks, leaf litter, and logs. It was stated that Giant Millipedes usually eat the soft roots of plants and fallen fruit. Also stated was something that I am very glad I found out, because I was about to pick up this one but decided against it, lucky for me and this was that the Giant Millipede can spray you with a substance that can actually burn your skin if not treated! I did not meausure this one at the time but I would roughly say about three maybe three and one half inches in length. Some folks keep them and breed them for pets. :D
