Green Hydra and water flea
I watched this hydra catch and swallow one water flea. (It can be seen in the "bulge") Before the first one was completely swallowed, it had latched onto another water flea. I continued to watch... curious what would happen, but this second water flea either escaped or was released by the hydra.
Awsome shot there Charles! You seem to have captured an image most of us dream about. Cool

Hi y'all!
Charlie's terrific image is going to grace the front cover of www.amateurmicroscopy.net for the month of August. WooHoo! Charlie's metallic beetle image will also grace the front cover of www.photomacrography.net for August, too. Way to go Charlie!
Best regards to all as always,
