macro rail

I'm looking for a macro sliding rail. Down to two options, Kirk (LRP1) or RRS(http://www.reallyrightstuff.com/pano/index.html#). Now if I'm correct, then I can use this pano package for macro too. It can serve dual purpose of pano and macro photography. Which one do you suggest?

How to find subjects

How and where do you find your subject in the field.
I plan to make some images of catrpiller, flowers mostly static subjects as I will be doing it with Pentax645 and a 120mm Macro. What are important points to keep in mind.

Yes, I own microcosmos albeit in German. A fantastic watch. I recently got a B and W speakers along with NAD receiver/amplifier and the surround sound was just too good.

Ya, I agree Tom. There is a tool for every trade. MF,LF is more for the landscape than bird and macro! I might buy an reverse-adapter or a macro for me Canon A1FD setup.
