Hello ken and Jean Marc,
of course it is not simple as it was on the front view but.... you can read on the side that there is no central area so surely no raphe... it can easely be classed in fragillariale or diatomale... my first think goes to a diatoma mesodon, but not sure

Hello everybody, Ken told me that he prefer alive diatoms.... I don't whant him to think that I am a serial diatom killer :lol: .... of course, I am obliged to kill some of them to read the frustules, but I like also to see them alive... remember my pseudo is "Gyrosigma"... so to illustrate this... ...
