Homemade ringflash

Post by Edwin Bont »

I made this "ringflash" for my stacked lenses setup (100mm macro+reversed 50mm, enlargement 3:1).
It is hard to get some light in the face of an insect because the working distance is less than an inch.
So i made this modification for my small (slave) flash.

It's realy easy to work with, i used to use a large flash and that is hard in such tight places.

Examples (sorry, i am too lazy to resize them all)
